Try On Twin
Questions, answered.
What to know before adding photo-based previews to your Shopify store.
What is Try On Twin?
Try On Twin is a Shopify app for apparel merchants. Shoppers upload a photo and generate a preview of clothing on themselves, directly from a product page.
How does the photo-based preview work?
A shopper uploads a photo from a product page. The app uses that image and a garment product image to generate an illustrative preview of the clothing on the person.
Does virtual try-on tell a customer which size to buy?
AI-generated try-on previews illustrate appearance. They do not measure the customer, recommend a size or guarantee garment fit. Shoppers should still use your size chart and garment measurements.
Which products can I use it for?
For apparel merchants who want customers to explore how a garment might look on their own photo before purchase.
Do I have to edit theme code?
The normal setup uses an app embed in Shopify’s theme editor. Enable it, save your theme and check the button on a product page. Custom product templates or media galleries may need configuration or support.
Does it work with my Shopify theme?
Use the demo and test your own product templates on desktop and mobile. The integration uses a Shopify theme app embed; custom themes, product galleries and other apps can affect button placement. Contact support if the button does not appear.
How much does it cost?
Plans start at $19 USD per month and include 150 try-ons. A 7-day free trial is listed on Shopify. Extra usage is charged at your plan’s per-preview rate. See the pricing page for all plans and confirm the charge in Shopify before approving it.
Is there a free plan?
The current Shopify listing offers a 7-day free trial on paid plans. It does not list an ongoing free plan.
What makes a useful photo?
Use a clear, well-lit photo with the person and the relevant part of the body visible. Avoid heavy filters and obstructions. Check the generated garment against the product photo; details can change.
What happens to uploaded photos?
The app processes uploaded photos to generate previews. Read the linked privacy policy for the published details on storage, service providers, retention and deletion requests. Only upload photos you have permission to use. Contact support for a privacy question before uploading sensitive material.
Will previews increase conversions or reduce returns?
The app dashboard shows usage and related orders. These observations do not establish a causal increase in conversion or reduction in returns. Compare results against your own baseline before making a commercial claim.
How long does generation take?
Generation time can vary with the selected mode, input images and service conditions. The examples on this website are not a speed benchmark. Test the workflow on your store before launch.
Where can I get help?
Email argowebapps@gmail.com with your store domain, theme name and a description of the issue. Do not send customer photos or access credentials unless a secure support process has been agreed.
